Risk Disclosure Statement

Effective Date: December 25, 2024

IMPORTANT RISK WARNING

TRADING FUTURES, OPTIONS, AND OTHER DERIVATIVES INVOLVES SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL INVESTORS. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE RISK DISCLOSURE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR SERVICES.

1. General Risk Statement

THERE IS A VERY HIGH DEGREE OF RISK INVOLVED IN TRADING.

Past results are not indicative of future returns. The signals, indicators, and analysis provided by Liquidity Hunters are for educational and informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for all trading decisions you make.

YOU CAN LOSE SOME OR ALL OF YOUR INVESTED CAPITAL. DO NOT TRADE WITH MONEY YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE.

2. Futures Trading Risks

Futures trading involves unique risks that you should understand before trading:

2.1 Leverage Risk

Futures are highly leveraged instruments. A small market movement can result in large gains or losses relative to your margin deposit. You may sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and be required to deposit additional funds to maintain your position.

2.2 Market Volatility

Markets can move rapidly and unpredictably. Economic events, news releases, and other factors can cause significant price swings. Stop-loss orders may not protect you from losses in fast-moving markets due to slippage or gaps.

2.3 Liquidity Risk

Market conditions may prevent you from entering or exiting positions at desired prices. During low liquidity periods, bid-ask spreads may widen significantly.

2.4 Overnight and Weekend Risk

Markets can gap significantly during periods when trading is closed. Events occurring outside of market hours can result in substantial losses when markets reopen.

2.5 Margin Calls

If your account equity falls below maintenance margin requirements, you may receive a margin call requiring immediate deposit of additional funds. Failure to meet margin calls can result in forced liquidation of positions at a loss.

3. Performance Disclaimers

Past Performance

PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS.

Any performance statistics, win rates, or returns displayed on our website or communications are based on historical data and/or hypothetical backtesting. These figures:

  • Do not guarantee or predict future performance
  • Were achieved under specific market conditions that may not repeat
  • May not reflect actual trading results
  • Do not account for slippage, commissions, or fees
  • May be based on simulated or hypothetical trading

Hypothetical Performance Limitations

HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT.

9. Psychological Risks

  • Fear and greed can lead to poor decision-making
  • Losses can cause emotional distress and impair judgment
  • Overconfidence after wins can lead to excessive risk-taking
  • Trading can become addictive for some individuals

If you find that trading is negatively affecting your mental health, relationships, or daily life, please seek professional help and consider taking a break from trading.

10. Regulatory Considerations

Futures trading is regulated by various authorities including the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) in the United States. You are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable regulations in your jurisdiction.

Some jurisdictions may restrict or prohibit futures trading. It is your responsibility to ensure that your trading activities are legal in your location.

11. Risk Management Recommendations

While we cannot guarantee profits, we strongly recommend the following risk management practices:

  • Never risk more than 1-2% of your account on any single trade
  • Always use stop-loss orders (though they don't guarantee against losses)
  • Trade with proper position sizing relative to your account
  • Diversify and don't put all capital into one market
  • Keep a trading journal to track and learn from your decisions
  • Paper trade first to understand signals before using real money
  • Start small and increase size only as you gain experience
